What is Tools to Towns?

Tools to Towns is a community-focused program created by Shine Bright Occupational Therapy in collaboration with Teach Me Speech, designed to bring practical, supportive, and neuro-inclusive workshops to rural and regional communities.

Parent workshops

A key part of the program is our parent workshop series, offering accessible 1.5-hour sessions across different towns to support families in understanding and responding to their child’s development, regulation, learning, sensory needs, and participation in everyday life. Workshops are designed to provide practical strategies, build parent confidence, and create supportive spaces for shared learning and connection within the community.

Topics may include emotional regulation, school readiness, sensory processing, ADHD support, fine motor development, inclusion, and everyday practical supports for children of all abilities.

In addition to parent workshops, Tools to Towns also offers tailored workshops for schools, childcare services, and early education settings based on identified goals and community needs. We are mobile and on the move meaning we travel to you.
